Dr. Karla Galati
I have 15 years experience using holistic and traditional healing modalities - EMDR, Art Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, CBT and more, to help individuals recover fully from trauma, anxiety, stress, depression and/or addictions. I can help you rediscover your strengths and the passion within to heal all things that hold you back, allowing you to recover your joy and the highest potential of who you truly are.
I have been called compassionate and kind, yet skilled at helping individuals heal and improve their lives. I will work with you to develop a plan that will utilize different healing modalities so you may nourish your body, mind and soul in a safe, non-judgmental environment to enhance healing and growth.
I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2020 with a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Instruction and Cognition. My research paper was the Efficacy of Mindfulness with Addiction and Anxiety. I graduated from Ursuline College in 2009 with a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy and Counseling. I am fully trained in EMDR and Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy. I am also trained at the master’s level in Reiki.

“Can you accept the notion that once you change your internal state, you don’t need the external world to provide you with a reason to feel joy, gratitude, appreciation, or any other elevated emotion...Becoming the person you aspire to be requires that you stop being that old self.”
